If you live in the area of Dodge City, Kansas, from time to time you might catch a glimpse of Shane in his aerobatic plane, smoke trailing from the rear of the aircraft as he practices his intricate stunts and maneuvers in the skies above.

Twenty-six years ago, Mr. John Morrissey began a discussion with the then Mayor of Ashland, Kansas about returning aerobatics to the heartland. This conversation led to the implementation of a yearly aerobatic camp held at Harold Krier Field in Ashland, Kansas. The camp consists of four pilots in four, seven day camps, where aerobatic pilots take the opportunity to hone their craft. Shane was one of the pilots that attended the first week’s aerobatic camp in Ashland, Kansas at the end of April.

Shane has enlisted Jovanny Bonilla to produce a video compilation of his flying, both in his Highlander aircraft and his Pitts aerobatic airplane. Jovanny tagged along with Shane on his aerobatic camp and captured stunning footage of Shane’s daring aerobatic maneuvers. View this amazing video below.
