Shane made it safely back to Kansas after a week-long trip to China.  He visited China as a representative of the Kansas Board of Regents.  Shawn Chen, Fort Hays State University partner at SIAS International University, invited Shane to deliver one of the keynote speeches for the opening ceremony of the Inaugural International Education Summit in Zhengzhou, China on May 24, 2018.  Dr. Edward Hammond, former President of Fort Hays State University and Dr. Paul Adams, Dean of the College of Education, joined Shane in delivering other keynote addresses.  Shane took the opportunity to tour SIAS and interact with faculty and students; he then spoke at the SIAS graduation ceremony on May 27, 2018, which is captured in the pictures below.
